A 6 year old and a 4 year old are upstairs in their bedroom. The 6 year old asks, "You know what? I think it's about time we started swearing." The 4 year old nods his head in approval. The 6 year old continues, "When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with hell in it and you say something with ass." The 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm.
When the mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies, "Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios. WHACK! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. His mom locks him in his room and shouts, "You can stay there until I let you out!"
She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?" "I don't know," he blubbers, "but you can bet your ass it won't be Cheerios.

Troops deal Boko Haram terrorists fatal blow, rescue 150
– Boko Haram weapons seized by Nigerian army – Troops launches new mining equipment in war against the insurgents
– Army spokesperson says morale is sky-high after recent success
Nigeria’s military forces have recorded a major victory against Boko Haram sect in its war against terrorism after further decapitating the fighters in a recent raid.
According to information made available to Naij.com, about 20 of the terrorists were killed during the raid as the Nigerian troops advanced in its Lafiya Dole operation in the country’s northeast.
Colonel Kukasheka Usman, the spokesperson of the Nigerian army noted that this recent victory is in line with the Chief of Army Staff’s directive for troops to maintain the momentum.
He stated that“today (Tuesday), troops of 7 Division have carried out major operations against the Boko Haram terrorists locations in Talala and Kumshe axis.
“The joint operation which was carried out with Cameroonian forces was quite successful as a number of the terrorists were killed, some of their weapons and equipment either destroyed or captured.
“The joint operation between elements of 7 Division and the Cameroonian forces along Banki-Kumshe axis, led to the killing of 20 Boko Haram terrorists, destruction of 4 AK 47 rifles and capture of a gun truck mounted with an Anti-Aircraft Gun (AA Gun) and 2 AK 47 rifles, as well as a 60mm mortar and a Dane gun.”
While expressing regrets over the injury sustained by three soldiers and a damaged vehicle caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), Colonel Usman noted that, “troops also encountered about 10 other IEDs along the route of advance which were cleared. Most of the terrorists ran in disarray towards Fatake where troops on blocking position cleared them.
“Along the Talala axis despite an IED in which 1 soldier was wounded and a damaged vehicle, the operation is progressing very well. More so as the Nigerian Air Force has been assisting with interdiction and surveillance.”
During the raid, troops at Kodo rescued 150 persons who were mainly children also, a house with Boko Haram terrorists’ flag at Fatake caught fire with several ammunitions explosions in which three Boko Haram terrorists were killed in the house.
The army spokesperson also eulogised the equipment used in taking out some of the terrorists high-tech ammunition against the soldiers, Colonel Usman hailed the 5 Brigade and 7 Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF), saying they were“doing very well in their respective area of operations. This is made possible by the steady supply of needed logistics into the various formations and units fighting the Boko Haram terrorists.
“The Army also launched new mine clearing equipment, weapons and their ammunitions. It is noteworthy, apart from being the first mine clearing machines in the inventory of the Nigerian Army, it is one of the best in the world.”
And in his usual manner, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, the (Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has personally commended the troops for their impressive performance thus far.
“He made the commendation shortly after a briefing by the Deputy Theatre Commander and also the Land Component Commander, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Major General LEO Irabor and the General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Brigadier General VO Ezugwu at the Theatre Command, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Maiduguri.
“The Chief of Army Staff was in Maiduguri on official visit to formations and units in the North East. He was accompanied by the Chief of Training and Operations, Major General YM Abubakar and other senior officers from the Army Headquarters,”Usman noted, adding that the soldiers remained in high spirits after this latest success.

Syria conflict: IS claims deadly Homs and Damascus blasts

The Islamic State group says it carried out bomb attacks in the Syrian capital Damascus and the city of Homs, which left at least 140 people dead.
Four blasts in the southern Damascus suburb of Sayyida Zeinab killed at least 83 people, state media say.
Earlier in Homs, 57 people, mainly civilians, were killed in a double car bombing, a monitoring group reports.
Both of Sunday's attacks targeted areas dominated by Islamic minorities reviled by the Sunni Muslim radicals of IS.
The blasts came as President Bashar al-Assad told reporters Syrian refugees should not be scared of returning home.
Mr Assad, who has long been accused of persecuting his own people, said ordinary Syrians who had fled the conflict due to the "standard of living that has been deteriorating drastically" could go back without fear of action by the government.
"We want people to come back to Syria," he told reporters.
More than 250,000 Syrians have been killed in the conflict. Some 11 million others have been forced from their homes, of whom four million have fled abroad - including growing numbers who are making the dangerous journey to Europe. Earlier, US Secretary of State John Kerry said a "provisional agreement" had been reached with Russia on a partial truce.
However he admitted issues remained to be resolved and said he did not expect any immediate change on the ground.
Earlier this month, world powers involved in the crisis in Syria agreed to seek a "cessation of hostilities", but the Friday deadline came and went.

In Damascus on Sunday, the state-run Sana news agency reported least 83 dead and 178 wounded in several explosions in Sayyida Zeinab. It is the location of Syria's holiest Shia Muslim shrine, said to contain the grave of the Prophet Muhammad's granddaughter.
The Amaq news agency, which is linked to IS, said IS militants had detonated a car bomb and then blown up explosive belts.
Muhannad, a local resident, told Reuters news agency he was sleeping in his home when he heard an explosion.
"A man detonated the bomb on his body," he said.
"Another five to seven minutes later, a second man detonated his body bomb there. I was right here looking at him."

Business and Economy Naira strengthens, trades N360-367 on the black market 1 day ago
– The naira has strengthened against the US dollar
– The currency gained N360 against the American dollar
The Naira has finally strengthened against the US dollar.
Nigeria’s naira has finally strengthened against the US dollar after weeks of free fall on the parallel market.
On Friday, February 19, the currency gained N360 against the American dollar which means that the pressure on the national currency has eased. However, some unofficial traders sell it at N370 per dollar and buy at N367.
Reuters reports that Nigeria’s overnight interbank lending rate dropped to an average of 1% on Friday from around 4.5% on Thursday as the market anticipated refunds of cash deposited by commercial lenders for foreign exchange purchases.
According to traders, liquidity dropped sharply and the cost of borrowing climbed after commercial lenders moved cash to their naira accounts with the central bank to enable them to take part in the weekly forex intervention on Thursday. On Tuesday, February 16, banks deposited about 700 billion naira to back their planned forex purchases, draining liquidity in the banking system and pushing the lending rate above 4%.
“The cost of funds dropped today (Friday) based on expectation that the central bank will refund a portion of cash deposited for forex intervention before the close of business,”one dealer said.
Once a week, the central bank usually intervenes in the official interbank foreign exchange market to provide dollars for eligible importers. It requires commercial lenders to fund its naira account 48 hours ahead of the intervention.
Traders said that they were expecting around 450 billion-500 billion naira in refunds from the central bank, raising the level of cash credits in favour of commercial lenders and helping to hold down interbank lending.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has rejected calls to devalue the currency of Nigeria

A 36-year-old Michigan woman, Anita Sullivan Jones, has set a new world record by giving birth to her 14th child from her 14th husband.
The woman at the hospital
Infamous Tribune reports that Ms Jones has been listed in the Guinness Book of World Records after giving birth at the Harper University Hospital on Tuesday, February 16. She is sad to be the first woman in the world to have children by more than thirteen different men.
“I’m extremely proud to have broken a World Record,”Ms. Jones told reporters.“My mother always told me that I was lazy and worthless, and that I would never accomplish anything in my life. Now, I’ve shown everyone that she was wrong, and that I can even be the best in the world when I put my mind to something. In fact, I’ve just accomplished something that no one had done before!”
Anita Jones says she’s been unlucky with relationships in the past, but she believes that this time she may have found the man of her life.
“I’m good at having babies, but I’m really awful when it comes to picking the fathers of my children. This time, however, I think I’ve learned from my past mistakes. Ramón isn’t like all the jerks I’ve dated before. We’ve been together for almost a year and a half, and I really believe it could work between us.”
Jones’ thirteen other children looked really happy to meet their new sibling at the hospital. They were also said to be filled with joy for their mother, who against all odds had broken a Guinness World Record, and posed happily for the 2017 edition of the book.
The other 13 children at the hospital
After their meeting with Ms. Jones, the representatives of Guinness opened a second investigation concerning the record for the number of child support pensions received by one person. The Detroit native is already the beneficiary of pensions paid by 11 different men, and is involved in two other custody cases, which should proceed before the family court over the next two months.
The investigation should be over by the month of March 2016, and Guinness will then be able to tell if Ms. Jones holds a second World Record or not.
Errr, can they tie the tube of the woman already? What the heck??
